Your season starts before it starts
Kazaplan is a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia's market, working from Cairo for stores, restaurants and brands that sell to Saudi consumers. Snapchat ads are vertical ads shown between Stories and in chat, on an app Saudis open every day. We build the plan on your season calendar first, connect the Pixel to your store, make snaps in Saudi dialect, then report cost per order.
In most cases, yes. Snapchat is a daily app for Saudi users and works well for stores, restaurants, fragrance, real estate and apps. The real question is how much to put there compared with TikTok and Instagram. We answer that from your product, the age of your buyers and the first weeks of test results, not from a fixed rule.
Four to six weeks before Ramadan. That gives time to lock the offer, shoot the snaps, agree terms with creators and test the Pixel, then run a warm-up campaign that builds an audience to retarget at peak. Brands that start on the first night enter the auction with no warm audience and usually pay more for the same result.
Yes. Salla has an official Snapchat connection under its marketing and tracking tools that links the ad account, Pixel, catalog and Conversions API. Zid stores can add the Pixel too. Either way, we place a test order and confirm that product view, add to cart and purchase events reach Snapchat before any sales campaign goes live.
Yes. Anyone publishing paid advertising content in Saudi Arabia needs a Mawthooq license from the General Authority for Media Regulation. We ask for the license number before agreeing anything and require clear ad disclosure. A violation can come back on the advertiser too, so we do not work with an unlicensed account, however large it is.
There is no single number. Snapchat sells delivery by auction and you set a daily budget per ad set, and competition climbs sharply in Ramadan and White Friday. Ad spend is paid to Snapchat directly. Kazaplan's fee is separate and covers planning, creative and management. We suggest a starting budget once we know your goal and season.
Yes, and we prefer that accounts stay in your name. We ask for access to your Snapchat Ads Manager account instead of opening one under ours, so the Pixel, audiences and campaign history remain yours. Our team is in Cairo and serves Saudi clients remotely, with video meetings and regular reports.

An abaya store on Salla is getting its Ramadan collection ready. The shoot is set for mid Shaban and the ads go live on the first night of the month. It sounds sensible. It is about three weeks late.
In the first days of Ramadan everyone is bidding at once: fragrance, dates, fashion, restaurants. Brands that built an audience earlier are retargeting people who already know them. Brands that start late are paying to introduce themselves in the most expensive week of the year. This page is about not being the second kind.
Why a Snapchat ads agency in Saudi Arabia starts with habit
Snapchat is a daily habit in Saudi Arabia. People open it to chat, watch Stories and follow creators several times a day, and the ad shows full screen and vertical between what they are watching. No sidebar, no search results competing for attention.
Ads are bought in Snapchat Ads Manager through an auction. You pick an objective such as traffic, leads, sales or app installs, target by region, age, language and interests, then layer audiences from store visitors and customer lists.
The Saudi calendar, counted backwards
We plan around the seasons where you actually sell, and work back from each one:
- Ramadan and Eid: the biggest season for most stores and restaurants. Creative and offers ready four to six weeks out, with a warm-up campaign running in Shaban.
- Founding Day in February and National Day in September: strong moments for national content and special offers, with heavy competition for attention.
- White Friday in November: an open discount season. Shoppers compare prices, so a clear offer beats pretty design.
- Back to school and summer: smaller seasons that matter for fashion, stationery, electronics and travel.
Every business also has its own rhythm. A restaurant in Riyadh lives on Thursday and Friday evenings, so we concentrate delivery in the hours when people decide where to eat, not evenly across the week.
Pixel first, sales campaign second
A Snapchat sales campaign learns from the purchase events it receives. No purchase events, nothing to learn from.
Salla has an official Snapchat connection that links the ad account, Pixel, catalog and Conversions API in one step. Zid stores can add the Pixel as well. After setup we place a test order and watch product view, add to cart and purchase arrive. Many Saudi orders are cash on delivery or paid in instalments through Tabby or Tamara, so we check that a purchase records for every payment method, not only cards.
Formats we use most
- Snap Ads: the workhorse. Vertical video or image with a clear button.
- Collection Ads: for stores showing several products under one video.
- Dynamic Ads: built from your catalog to remind people who viewed and left. This is where a connected catalog pays off.
- Sponsored Snaps: a message delivered to the chat inbox that can open a conversation with your profile.
Sponsored Lenses are fun but costly to produce. We suggest them for a major launch or a national occasion, not a routine sales push.
Creators and the Mawthooq license
Creator campaigns are common in Saudi Arabia and work well when the creator’s audience looks like your buyer. There is one condition we never skip: anyone publishing paid advertising needs a Mawthooq license from the General Authority for Media Regulation. We ask for it before any agreement and require clear disclosure.
Then we choose by real engagement and audience fit, not follower count. Often we take the creator’s video and run it as a paid ad from your account, so it reaches well beyond their followers.
What drives the cost
Two separate lines. Ad spend goes straight to Snapchat and moves with competition, so the last ten nights of Ramadan cost more than an ordinary month. Kazaplan’s fee depends on the number of campaigns, the volume of creative, and whether a shoot, a Lens or creator coordination is involved. Creator fees are a third line, agreed with them directly.
We do not publish fixed prices. See the plans, or send us your next season and we will come back with a proposal.
Snapchat next to TikTok and Meta
Saudi audiences do not live on one app. In many campaigns we use Snapchat and TikTok to win attention, Meta to retarget on Instagram, and Google for people who search your name after seeing the ad. The split shifts week to week based on cost per order on each platform. More on that in paid advertising.
An honest note on Egypt
If your buyers are only in Egypt, we usually recommend starting with Meta, not Snapchat. Usage there is much lower. In our plans Snapchat is mainly a Saudi channel.
Our team is in Cairo and serves Saudi clients remotely through video meetings. We write the snaps in Saudi dialect and plan on the Saudi calendar. Read how we work with that market on the Saudi Arabia page.
What we believe
More than one plan
Every business has its own story, audience and challenges, so we never squeeze clients into a ready-made template. We build the plan around the business.
Strategy before activity. First we work out what your business really needs and what it does not, then we decide where to publish and how much to spend.
Your real-world success deserves a digital presence of the same size. We don't start your success, we amplify it.
